The South Hadley Comprehensive Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan is complete. The report charts a plan for short- and long-term improvements to South Hadley's hiking, biking and walking networks.
South Hadley Comprehensive Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan
PVPC worked with the Town of South Hadley to develop a Comprehensive Plan for Walking/Bicycle Routes and Hiking Trails in South Hadley. The Plan will shape long-term improvements to the Town's sidewalks, bike routes, bike paths, and hiking trails.
The Plan will help make it safer, easier, and more pleasant to walk and bike in South Hadley--whether that is for fun, shopping, getting to work or school, or exercise. The Plan identifies priority areas for improvement and identifes the key steps to move projects forward.

On behalf of South Hadley, PVPC conducted a survey of residents and visitors to South Hadley about their experiences bicycling and walking in the town.
The Pioneer Valley Planning Commission and the Town of South Hadley will hold a public forum and visioning session Wednesday, September 16, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the South Hadley Town Hall Auditorium, 116 Main Street.
The Town of South Hadley wants residents to provide input about bicycling and walking in the Town. The South Hadley Bicycling and Walking Survey asks what people like and don’t like about walking and bicycling in South Hadley, as well as what kinds of improvements would make a difference.
