Climate change and pollution are affecting our community, bringing hotter summers, wetter winters, increaed risks of violent storms, and threats to our public health such as increased asthma rates. The City of Springfield is doing something about that:  writing a Climate Action and Resilience Plan. This plan of action will better prepare and protect our neighborhoods from the effects of climate change, lay out steps to bring down pollution across our city, and ensure climate justice by making sure communities that have been most impacted by pollution and climate change benefit from the plan.

To do this, we need your help.Come out to learn more about the plan, and tell us what you think should be included in it to improve the environment in your neighborhood. We want to hear from you to make this the best plan of action it can be

A meal, translation and childcare will be provided at all meetings. We can also provide transportation assistance as needed when you register.
