Re-Greening Chicopee:  Learn About Green Streets In Your Neighborhood

The City of Chicopee is in the process of re-greening its streets, and your input is wanted! As part of the city's ongoing efforts to revitalize downtown Chicopee and improve water quality in the Chicopee and Connecticut Rivers, Dwight Street and Perkins Street in the West End are being studied for streetscape improvements. Join us to review prelliminary designs and learn how street trees and green infrastructure can improve your health, make our streets more comfortable and attractive, stimulate local businesses, and even reduce your energy bills!

This is the second of two workshops to gather input and determine final street designs.

Homeowners and renters, landowners, and business owners in the downtown area are especially encouraged to attend, but everyone throughout Chicopee with an interest in shaping green streets development in the city is welcome to participate!
