PUBLIC PARTICIPATION NOTICE

Proposed Amendments to the FFY 2017 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), Draft 2018-2022 TIP, and Draft Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP)

In accordance with the formal public participation program tied to the Pioneer Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) in coordination with Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) is holding a (21) day public review for the Proposed Amendments to the FFY 2017 TIP, Draft 2018-2022 TIP, and the draft UPWP.  This document will be available for comment starting on April 26, 2017 and ending on May 19, 2017.  Please visit www.pvpc.org for additional information.

This process will also be used as the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority’s (PVTA) public participation process. The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority, the FTA Section 5307(c) applicant, has consulted with the Pioneer Valley  Metropolitan Planning Organization and concurs that the public involvement process adopted by the Pioneer Valley MPO for development of the TIP satisfies the public hearing requirements that pertain to the development of the Program of Projects (POP) for the regular Section 5307, Urbanized Area Formula Program, grant applications including the provisions for public notice and the time established for public review and comment.

De acuerdo con el programa de participación pública formal asociado con el Pioneer Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) con Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) tiene un repaso de 21 días para Las enmiendas propuestas al año fiscal federal 2017 Programa de Mejoramiento del Transporte ( TIP) , Proyecto 2018-2022 TIP , y Proyecto de Programa de Trabajo Unificado de Planificación ( UPWP ).  Este documento estará disponible para comentarios a partir del 26 de abril de 2017 y finalizará el 19 de mayo de 2017.  Visite www.pvpc.org para obtener información adicional.

Este proceso también se utilizará como ( PVTA ) proceso de participación pública de la Autoridad de Tránsito del Valle de Pioneer . La Autoridad de Tránsito Pioneer Valley, la Sección de FTA 5307 ( c ) solicitante , ha consultado con la Organización de Pioneros del Valle de Planificación Metropolitana y está de acuerdo que el proceso de participación pública adoptada por el Pioneer Valley MPO para el desarrollo del TIP satisface los requisitos de audiencia pública que se refieren a el desarrollo del Programa de Proyectos de la Sección regular de 5307 , el Programa de Fórmula Área Urbanizada , conceder aplicaciones, incluyendo las provisiones para aviso público y el tiempo establecido para la revisión y comentarios públicos .
