The Rapid Recovery Plans (RRP)

The Pioneer Valley Planning Commission was honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with eight of our member municipalities to facilitate development of their State funded Rapid Recovery Plans. The Rapid Recovery Plan (RRP) Program provided every municipality in Massachusetts the opportunity to develop actionable, project-based recovery plans tailored to the unique economic challenges and COVID-19 related impacts to downtowns, town centers, and commercial areas across the commonwealth.

PVPC developed RRPs for Belchertown, Blandford, Chester, Chicopee, East Longmeadow, Monson, Springfield and Ware. Other Pioneer Valley municipalities also developed RRPs with other Plan Facilitators. You can access all the RRPs at this website: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/rapid-recovery-plan-rrp-program Rapid Recovery Plans include analysis and exploration of challenges, barriers, strategies, and actions, with a focus on developing tactical and strategic project recommendations that help communities achieve their recovery goals.
