The Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) will convene an Environment, Sustainability, and Climate Change Focus Group on Thursday, November 6, 2014 to obtain feedback for use in the development of the update to the Regional Transportation Plan for the Pioneer Valley Metropolitan Planning Orga
PVPC is collaborating with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the communities of Williamsburg and Springfield to conduct a Health Impact Assessment of select municipal recommendations of the Pioneer Valley Climate Action/Clean Energy Plan.
The purpose of the Climate Action and Clean Energy Plan is to promote greater understanding of the causes and consequences of climate change in the Pioneer Valley.
