The Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) will convene an Environment, Sustainability, and Climate Change Focus Group on Thursday, November 6, 2014 to obtain feedback for use in the development of the update to the Regional Transportation Plan for the Pioneer Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (RTP).  This focus group will meet from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the PVPC. 

Participants in the focus group will be asked to provide input on the future environment, sustainability, and climate change needs of the region in relation to transportation planning as well as the identification of the strategies that can best address these needs.  In addition, information will be collected on the preferred strategies and transportation improvement projects necessary to ensure a sustainable, safe and efficient regional transportation system.
