Goshen Open Space Plan Available for Public Review

The Goshen Open Space Committee has drafted an update to the Town’s 2003 Open Space and Recreation Plan. The plan identifies the status of open space and recreation in Goshen and includes a seven-year action plan to help meet these goals.

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Conservation Services (DCS) requires open space and recreation plans to be updated every seven years. A current plan is a requirement of eligibility for several state grant funding sources for open space and recreation purposes.

The plan is available for review and public comment until Friday, December 9 at http://www.pvpc.org/get_involved/docreview.shtml. Hard copies of the plan are also available for review at the Town Clerk’s office and at the Goshen Library.
