Public Input Sought on Plainfield Open Space Plan
The Plainfield Open Space Committee is seeking public comment to identify town goals for open space and recreation over the next five years. A public visioning session is being held at Plainfield Town Hall Saturday, September 8, 9 a.m. to 11:00 am. The results of the public survey mailed to each household in Plainfield will also be presented.
This planning effort is being undertaken for development of an Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP). Public comment is critically important to develop a plan that meets the needs of Plainfield’s residents. All are encouraged to attend.
The OSRP is being developed with assistance from the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission with funding provided by a Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs Smart Growth Technical Assistance Grant.
