Bicycle Drawing June 4
A 10-speed commuter bicycle will be awarded to the winner of this year’s Bike Commute Week special raffle Monday, June 4 at 3:30 p.m. at New Horizons Sports, 55 Franklin Street (Route 20W) in Westfield. Store owner Don Podolski, who is donating the prize, will conduct the drawing.
Participants in Bike Commute Week had the opportunity to enter the raffle during the eighth annual festival on wheels held May 12-20 in communities throughout the region.
This collaborative effort of the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission, MassBike Pioneer Valley, MassHighway, community volunteers, and business and civic organizations encourages Pioneer Valley residents to commute by bicycle to work, to school, and for short trips in their communities.
