Continuing, Comprehensive, and Cooperative Planning Process
PVPC is collaborating with the City of Springfield to improve health and well-being of residents and visitors alike via a pilot wayfinding initiative in the City's Downtown/Metro Center neighborhood. Funding for this initiative comes from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
PVPC worked with the Franklin Regional Council of Governments and advisory committees in Hampshire and Franklin Counties to update to the original 1998 Connecticut River Scenic Byway Corridor Management Plan. This project was supported with grant funding from the National Scenic Byway program.
