The Draft Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)/Pioneer Valley Plan for Progress Five-Year Update 2019 for the Pioneer Valley region is now available! Our 30 day public review/comment period begins May 1, 2019.

The Pioneer Valley’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) serves both as a guiding vision and “blueprint” for the economic growth of the region and as a benchmark with which to measure growth and success. It is linked to the Pioneer Valley Plan for Progress, which is a ten-year plan outlining long-term goals and strategies in four broad areas: Talent, Business Development, Infrastructure, and Collaboration & Engagement.

 

The CEDS provides a current picture of the status of the region’s economy and documents progress towards economic development goals.​ This is the five-year update of the Plan For Progress and gives the region’s leadership a current picture of the status of the region’s economy and the Plan for Progress economic strategies.
